Meet Our Team

Isabel Barin, LMFT

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing since 2008 as an intern and fully licensed since 2014. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University.

With over 17 years of experience, I have witnessed the transformative changes that can occur through the therapeutic process. I believe that every individual possesses the inner capacity to grow and better themselves. I provide a safe, compassionate, and respectful space to help clients navigate their struggles, concerns, and hopes.

I specialize in supporting adolescents and adults facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, peer pressure, trauma, grief and loss, infertility, work stress, relationship struggles and life transitions. I also offer Christian, faith-based counseling, thoughtfully integrating spiritual beliefs into the therapeutic process to support healing, growth, and deeper meaning. My integrative and client-centered approach combines techniques from Humanistic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-oriented practices, allowing me to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs.

I have extensive experience supporting individuals and couples through infertility. Having gone through my own journey, I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding, allowing me to offer compassionate, relatable, and meaningful support during this deeply emotional process.

Whether your challenges stem from within or from your surroundings, therapy can help you better understand and navigate your emotional and behavioral responses. In a supportive and collaborative space, you’ll gain the tools and confidence to feel more grounded, empowered, and in control of your thoughts and emotions.  In our work together, my goal is to help you gain insight, understanding, and acceptance of yourself. While supporting you in setting your goals, I can provide you with the education and proven techniques to help you become your best self.
