How Therapy Works

We start with a brief phone call to discuss your concerns and what you hope to achieve in therapy. Next, we schedule your first session. You will receive a secure link to the client portal to complete some simple forms before we meet.  

Sessions are 50 minutes and held through a safe, HIPAA-compliant video platform. You guide the session, focusing on what feels most important, while we support you with questions, insight, and proven techniques to help you reach your goals. Most clients meet once a week, but we can adjust the schedule to fit your needs.

Getting Started

​

  • Getting started is easy! You can choose video or phone sessions.  

  • For video sessions: You’ll need a device with a camera and internet connection. You will receive access to a secure client portal to complete intake forms, followed by a private link to join your video session on our HIPAA-compliant platform.  

  • For phone sessions: You’ll need a reliable phone connection. We will coordinate the best call-in details and you’ll receive any necessary forms beforehand.  

  • We prioritize privacy and confidentiality in all modalities.
